EARTHBOUND EDUCATION
Earth-Centered School, Program, and Curriculum Design for a Changing World

Page Title
Learning & Leadership that Supports Life. For over 20 years, Sarita Pockell has been supporting schools, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations to design transformative programs and curriculum rooted in real-world action, human connection, deep ecology & whole-systems thinking.
Ecology is not a subject. It is a lens.
Project-based learning builds agency and relevance.
Great schools are designed, not improvised.
Teacher training is the multiplier. It is how we change the world.
Why this work now?
As AI and algorithms reshape how children learn and how adults work, schools and organizations are facing deeper challenges: attention fragmentation, rising anxiety, disconnection from place, and learning environments that are increasingly optimized for screens instead of life. Sarita and the Earthbound team help to design alternatives.
We lead collaborative design processes to build programs and curriculum that reconnect learners to their communities & to the living world as a pathway to stronger learning, healthier communities, and more grounded leadership.
